Messy shoerack

This is what the shoe rack at my place looks like....

The main problem is the amount of shoe is just keep on increasing, never decreasing. It's like a bunch of families are living under one roof while the fact is only 6 dudes live inside this tiny condo.

Went out to take the structural analysis textbook from my classmate, and since the weather is showing signs it is about to rain, i din rock any of my suede leather kicks(obviously), and i hate wearing sandals on the wet floor, that is when my old-trustworthy trainer comes along to the rescue.

My beat-the-crap-out trainer Air Max 90.Regret getting them true to size,we should always get trainers half size or 1 size up than our true size, because due to the design of trainers we need extra space for our toes to move(learned this from working at adidas). But its still a good pair of trainer.

Maybe it is time for me to clear some of the really old shoes and re-organize the shoe rack....

20th Anniversary GPM

Happy 20th anniversary for GPM, or Grundfos Pumps Malaysia. It is the 20th anniversary of the company, and they will did this special anniversary celebration once every 5 years. I also attended the last celebration 5 years ago at the Palace of Golden Horses. I'm actually cant attend that function, just that there is a spot left for my dad's company, and i'm just filling the void. A good way to spend my usually dull friday night too.
The function is held at Nikko Hotel, dealers, clients from all around the nation came to this function, yet i only know handful of people there, mostly staffs of my dad's,and my dad included. I pretty much went there just for the food,obviously....

I only managed to take 1 photo to let you guys see the inside of the hall, plus my phone camera is really shitty when it comes to capturing photo in dark places like this. Well the food is great, a lot of great choices like lamb kebabs, johor laksa, sushi, some indian food and so on....too much that i cant remember all of them, oh cant forget the free flow of beer, as my housemates always say :"mabuk free". There were a bunch of peope dressed in costumes there to entertain people, even Darth Vader was there, wonder why there is no stormtrooper accompanying that cool dude in shining black armor. There was also 'The Thing' of Fantastic Four, too bad when i wanna take pictures with them all of the costumes-clad dudes already left....it'll be so awesome to take pictures with Darth, he might be always force choking his incompetent minions all the time but deep down inside i bet he's a mellow dude and fun to hang with, just hope he wont choke me too.
Well overall its quite a good night spent there, much better than spent it in my room online or zombie killing or facing the dull notes and books.
that's it,gotta sleep now, feelin' a bit tipsy from the beer.

Selamat Pagi Sayang

A local production starring Noh of the great local band Hujan and DJ Fuzz. Support your local music! A really great song, glad local music scene is slowly going on a rise.

Oreo Overload

On the way to hunt for films for Johnson's new camera(not exactly new,it's totally mechanical camera, made in the Soviet during cold war era), he lead me to a pastry shop and somehow forced me to make a decision on a cake(seriously i dont know why he'll walk into a pastry shop at first),and this is my choice:

big thanks to that chick that work at the pastry shop for misspelled pretty much nearly every word. The cake is made of more than 50% oreo, which is one of my favorite cookie of all time, and i love this cake, still eating them while i'm typing this...big thanks again to Johnson for getting me this cake :-) finally i got the chance to cast my birthday wish this year LOL.
Gotta go now, wanna finish this sucker by today.

Happy Birthday,mate.

Finally, the big "two-one" is here. Glad i'm still alive and kicking it.

Again,happy birthday,edward :-)

Early birthday

Today after class i went to 1u, with a mystery guest yeoh woen. At first he just going to drive my bro's car to the campus for me since my bro edwin is not at KL at the moment,so i get to use his car, sweet. But he's just another lonely soul trapped home alone like me so he decided to tag along although he's just wearing his sleeping attire and lazy to change.

I've been waiting this baby for months, and by the time they hit showroom i was having my finals, and when my finals ended my sizes are gone....(again,fuck you finals)

super stoked finally got my pair, but now i'm back to the old me,broke :(

Luckily the push get their stock later than showroom, and hence the reason i need to go 1u. Finally, something special for myself on my big day. Though i'm kinda broke now after getting this but what the hell....we have to pamper ourselves once a while right? All i need left is some candles to put on the shoe box and i'm already content with my birthday LOL!

A really fun job

Took a job of sampling on the F&N Seasons drink during my sem break, and due to this job I had to cancel my work as a free tour guide for Vincent and Evus around Penang(sorry guys,we should plan for Christmas).

Had a great time and met a really nice team of peeps, Edwin the driver, Claudia and Catherine, and cant forget Xiao Jie.

We ending our day 1 of 2 at the Star Parade.

Really wish i can tag along with them at KL but too bad i got short semester,sigh...Through this job i met lots of other people too, not a bad job after all.

Perlis

Off to Perlis with my mom and my aunt today, my aunt wanted to return some stuff(honestly,i dont know what it is) to the doctors at the hospital there (she is a paeds nurse at the Alor Star hospital), and at the same time visit my another aunt there, which is a nurse at the ICU of the hospital.(yeah i know,my mom and my aunts' works revolve around healthcare.)

After returning those stuff, we took a small detour to Padang Besar, the border between M'sia and Thailand to buy some stuff.

Just managed to take some photos there, cos you know, i went there shop with 3 aunties, I have to responsible to carry their bags and their shopping bags too....and trust me,anuties really could not resist steal price items. We're there from 3pm to 6pm.

What the complex looks like from the first floor.

Stairway to heaven? Why is it going downwards?

My mom got this bag there for less than rm20, that place is a real heaven for people looking for stuff with real dirt cheap price, bootlegged stuff included.

I only managed to get this back from there, essential item to live on back at KL. Don't worry edwin, half box is mine, the other half is yours.

this trip really brings back a lot of nostalgic memories, I used to came here when i'm in my teen years to get jerseys and stuff. And also I spent most of my childhood here back at Perlis with my grandma and grandpa, which they already gone six feet under when I was 11. I still miss them, love my childhood too.

OK,enough with the nostalgic moments, time to pack my stuff, going back to KL in the afternoon. Au revoir Perlis, will definitely come back again in the future.

Tatooine

A nice song, regardless if you're a star wars fan.

Twin suns of Tatooine
Taught me everything I know
Twin suns of Tatooine
Taught me everything I know

There's room up there for second chances
Singles are fine but doubles are fantastic
I'd like to think that there's a star for me and you
Spinning round, falling for one another

Twin suns of Tatooine
Taught me everything I know
Twin suns of Tatooine
Taught me everything I know

Solos are fine but duets are romantic
A pair is grand but a trio'd be disastrous
I'd like to think that there's a star for me and you
Spinning round, falling for one another

1 day trip to Kulim

Went to Kulim with SX and Wee Chin just this afternoon, SX will have his internship there so we're there checking out the scene over there and find a spot for him to stay.

Chin said it's just like another Kampar and expect SX to go back AS every weekend....a small town with not much things to do around. The best spot there is just the Giant supermarket with cineplex inside, not too shabby for a small town like Kulim.

We also check out the Kulim Hi-Tech Park, SX will be having his internship at Fuji Electric, their factory is pretty huge, just beside the Intel building, well actually surrounded by numerous Intel buildings there....Overall Kulim Hi-Tech Park is a freakin huge place where big ass factories lying around, that kinda sums up what Kulim High-Tech Park is.

Went back at around 5pm like that, on the way back near the Gurun exit we stumble upon this:
There is another truck shipping the wings of the plane, but the truck was moving so slow i was not able to take the picture of the other truck, only able to take the picture of this truck shipping the fiuslag. Looked like some old school fighter plane design.
Hoping for more action in my sem break, peace.

Next on my ever-expanding wish list

I'm going to hunt down and buy this pair of shoe just because it has the same name as me. Really hoping that zone5 will bring in this pair. It'll be awesome to have a pair of shoe with my name labelled on the tongue, right?haha. But I really like the design of this pair, pretty similar to the design of my current favorite of the Nike SB line, the zoom air Stefan Janoski SB.
the Stefan Janoski SB, which i'm currently owning this exact colorway.Love this shoe. Definitely will get more of these babies in the future.

And the Es Edward. I'm always a sucker for black and white shoes. A nice, simple design always works for me.

Another pair that's on my target is the HUF Hupper. They keep saying me I had enough of this type of shoe lyring around, but these style, they never gets old, just like denim.

Plus HUF footwear just recently made available at Krookz KL. Big thanks to them for making it happening. Hoping more good brands from the States will be available at their shop.
Fuck i'm still in the middle of exam season and i'm blogging on things i wanna buy....ciao, gonna go read some stuff now.

semester ending

Last friday was the last day of our semester, and as usual we skipped the days class and went to a little road trip up to the mountains due to the hot weather and it's friday, no harm for having some good time with the dudes.

Oh,we're supposed to study for the finals now since the semester already ended and the beginning of study week?Fuck you,finals....for now.

Halfway up and the weather is getting colder....should've wear my flannel instead of my shrinking topman shirt(or is it me getting fatter?)

And indeed we're feeling the colder-than-usual temperature while chillin' at Starbucks. Had a not-so-good steamboat there, miss the "hoi thong" steamboat at Serdang.
Went down from there about 10pm,after experience some mind blowing strong and cold wind there.Think I might have flu right after I reach home.
That's it, will be back blogging when, and if, my life starts to get a tad interesting.ciao.

Lone

I've been solo-ing a lot lately, in doing almost anything actually. from dining to shopping and sometimes even watching movie at the cinemas alone.

Actually before this i do enjoy the occasional "alone" time, especially going out and shopping, because when i'm shopping alone, i'll only visit the shops that i really want to go, without any hassle. Because you klnow, when you go out with a bunch of friends, some might say "hey i wanna check out new stuff at topman" or "hey let's go the padini outlet first" and so on....it's not that i loathe going out in a group, trust me going out in a group is really fun. Just that when i shop alone, i make it brief and straight to the point. When i'm going to shop alone, i already know what i'm going to buy, such as some older release shoes with huge discounts or fresh release stuff that i'm anticipating sometime ago. I go, i grab, i pay, i leave, and that's it.
But lately i notice that my "alone" time is getting more and more. Is it because i'm too get used to solitary lifestyle and i'm starting to ignore what's happening around me? I went back to hometown few days ago, and i'm still at aloq stuck now. I used to hang out with my roommates even when i'm at hometown (due to my particle-sized social life), and now i'm all alone when i went out just now. I always feel that the old saying of "no man is an island" doesn't really apply to me because i do enjoy being alone, but now I finally feel that being alone is really one of the worst feeling you'll feel. Even when i'm at kl with my friends and mates I still feel this emptiness and hollow in me. The feeling is getting so intense that I'm beginning to feel that i might have depression.
Damn i seriously need to do something on improving my social life, really don't want things to get anymore worse. Maybe I should start with altering my mentality on my way of socializing. My close friends around me know that i'm always the "less talkative" one in the group, or in other words "listener". Yeah I do listen a lot on what my friends are talking, but maybe it's time for change. Perhaps i should switch to the talker instead of being silent and listen. Or maybe i'm just being too cool and others will mistakenly think i'm just a schmuck?
Is it a sign of me facing depression by typing all this crap?Fuck.....

Wish I Could...

Drop everything i need or might need to do today(test at tomorrow included) and just roll away on my board...

Oh fog...

We all have our fair share of crazy ideas, especially on what to do on a boring night.some say the usual clubbing, some hit the streets and check out the sights and sounds of sleepless nights at the city, some might just being the same old couch potato and stare at the idiot box on the lord of the rings reruns or some hk soap marathon...
But the idea of a sudden trip to genting highlands at midnight?that idea never gets old...
It was jin xuan's birthday, after the k-singing session with her friends from her college,we're off to setapak to grab shu jou along on this little trip to end the night at the sin city of our country.
On our way up to the mountains,we encountered fog thick as the yellow pages...By the way this is actually my very first time driving on my own up there, cos usually it's my friends that does the driving. And seriously, the thickness of the fog really made the driving much-more difficult as the winding mountains road already giving me a good test on my driving skills.

This is what it looks like while we're just halfway through...It reminds me of scenes of some horror movies, haha.

I did learn something from this little trip, that is your vision in front is better if you turn off the headlight while driving in a thick fog as the fog will reflect the light from the headlight. We end up stoning up there until 7am cos the fog is too thick and too risky for us to go down. But still this little trip beats the usual boring night. Thanks to jin xuan again for making it happen by suggesting this idea over supper, haha.Hoping for more sudden trips like this before she's off to taiwan.

Kampar: Day 2 (morning)

We're supposed to wake up by 8am today but we're still asleep at 9am.But we're still able to go visit utar kampar campus today. Yee yuin is our tour guide of the day. The very first thought that came into my mind when we enter the campus is "this place is freakin huge...".Seriously,the campus is indeed super sized compared to my puny campus of FES at setapak. They even had a freakin lake inside the school compound for god sake, before this i thought they lake is situated at
outside of the campus.

Not to forget there are also locals tagging along with us in this dull trip to the campus on the weekends, Nicole and Yan Ern. All of us took picture in front of the library main door.

The lake is seriously huge. They should consider letting people riding jet ski or some boating activity on that lake, what a waste...

When we're walking from block to block i also notice that each block has it's own canteen. But later i understand why they had to have a canteen on each block, because it is really far to travel from 1 block to another just to grab a bite.

This is the biggest canteen at block C. There are only a few chinese orchestra people practicing there due to weekend. This canteen is jam packed with people during weekdays, mostly students doing their foundation who are studying at block B.

This big piece of building is their freakin library. Too bad i can't get in because i don't have my student lanyard with me.

Not only there is a lake inside the campus, even a small stream.Wonder where the water came from....organic sewage system?

There is a lot of gardens in the campus too. Here i'm taking picture with our lovely guide, yee yuin. Don't worry you'll see a lot of her in the pictures....XD

Due to my laziness i only update some of the pictures. You can view em via Yeeyuin's pictures on her facebook. It is a bitch uploading those pictures, and i'm not an active blogger, which makes it worse...

I'm getting tired on updating.I'll update the afternoon part of day 2 on the next post. Uploading pictures from my phone is also quite a bitch,argh...
Till next time.

Kampar trip:day 1

I was pretty looking forward to the trip to kampar. First it was because i never went to there before, and i keep hearing from others that the campus there is like forbidden-city sized plus the great view. Also, i wanna experience the student's life at there, as i only study at pj and kl for the past 3 years. Truth is i'm getting sick of the life at kl,it is too.....dead and monotonous to me. Well yeah,i have to agree at kl there is always something fun to do like shopping(man,i love to shop), cant forget those shops i always go to get those fresh released kicks,or on the hunt for some over-priced kicks that is going on sale during sales period and those nice restaurants, but i still feel that something is missing here at kl.maybe i'm just looking for something that doesn't exist, or something that's really cant be found at kl.My other purpose of going there is just....hanging out with my friends who are still studying there.every semester break when i go back to hometown i always told them "yeah,i'll find you when sem break, then we can hang out" and stuff like that, but in the end i'm always stuck with the few very person that i spend most of my time with at kl(even share the same room with them).damn my social circle is shrinking....

On that day, the weather is just perfect to start my journey from my home at setapak.not too much sun,not too cloudy, just the type of weather i enjoyed most.i hate rainy days, because i really like wearing suede leather shoes, they look nice and comfortable at the same time and nice to skate in, and h2o is the prime enemy of suede leather.

As i reach kl sentral, i need to wait for jin xuan for an hour plus cos she's kinda occupied with her further studies to taiwan thingy, so i just hang around at mcd.when she's finally here and we meet up,the train ticket for afternoon already sold out, left the night train at 10.30pm.man,what a great start to our trip....so we end up killing our time by taking train to klcc and watched marmaduke.not a bad movie,if you're a dog lover.

Oh,by the way this is the place where we take our train at kl sentral. I only knew on that day that we can take train of ktm here at kl sentral, not the komuter type but the type that travel across our nation...

When we reach kampar it is already nearly 2am.wee chin came to pick us up and bring us on a tour around kampar, both old town and new town, midnight style.not much activity at the old town, nearly no activity at all,but things are still going active at new town, maybe cos it's filled with students from both ktar and utar live and hanging out there. they got almost everything a student need there, mamak store,cc,7-11,pool center....looks like their night life here is not much different compared to mine at kl.
We hit the sack as soon as we reach there cos we need to go visit the utar campus there tomorrow morning.stay tune for the update on day 2.

Homecoming

Just came back from visiting kampar.
Had a great time there for the past few days, will definitely update about the trip i had there when i got my hands on the pictures we took there from jin xuan.
Bunch of thanks to my friends there, yee yuin, wee chin, wei ting, wei khiang,ee khang and many more, for providing me a place to crash and tons of fun there.
Definitely one of the places i will visit again some time in the future.
Throughout the trip, i done a lot of thinking, a lot of soul searching and mind clearing. The serenity and chiilax life there helps a lot on de-stress and re-charge. Really hope my lives at kl could be as relaxing as i had at kampar.
Will sort through my mess and hopefully end it starting tomorrow.
Hitting the sack earlier tonight as i'm still kinda tired from the trip.Again, thanks to the peeps back at kampar for everything.
Also,i'm beginnning to love the idea of having short trips like this in the mid of semester, will invite more kaki next time.

Radiohead-Creep

A song that keeps replaying in my playlist lately.a really sad and melancholic song.

When you were here before
Couldn't look you in the eye
You're just like an angel
Your skin makes me cry

You float like a feather
In a beautiful world
I wish I was special
You're so fucking special

But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I don't belong here

I don't care if it hurts
I want to have control
I want a perfect body
I want a perfect soul

I want you to notice
When I'm not around
You're so fucking special
I wish I was special

But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I don't belong here

She's running out the door
She's running out, she run, run, run, run, run

Whatever makes you happy
Whatever you want
You're so fucking special
I wish I was special

But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I don't belong here
I don't belong here

Fat Rebel

Went to crash my roomie's class today, feels damn good to be a rebel sometimes, haha.

The one with the red shirt behind me is my roomie,sx.but we call him sex, cos sex sounded more catchy and funny at the same time, haha.

I got this problem of looking fat when my pictures were taken,i dont know why.cos i looked normal, normally.plus i'm not really a fat person myself, problem with the angle of the picture taken, perhaps?Or i'm just plainly gaining weight due to the big meals lately?
Damn i sounded like a bulimic chick that need to constantly monitoring their weight and decide whether or not to throw up the meal before, haha.

OK,that's it.I think i'm not going to update anything till the after the kampar trip this weekend.
By the way,i'm going to visit my fellow utarians at the Kampar campus this weekend.kinda looking forward to this trip as i'm getting tired to my revolving kl life, and this is my first time visiting there. Hope my host, yee yuin wont make me sleep beside the utar lake there, haha.

That's it for this time.ciao.will update the kampar trip,if i get to take any pictures and also if i'm bored enough to update here.

parking lot

Whenever i'm bored and wanted to shed some quick sweat around my shitty condo i will come here...the parking lot.
well it may look kinda shitty but at least the ground is flat enough for me to roll on with my board, and also it's quiet, another good place to go when i need to be alone.

this is the 3rd floor parking lot, the only floor that when i skate the echo produced is at minimum.cos you know...it's a damn condo, and with all the echoes i made around the condo i might get a little bit of yelling from other people living there sometimes, particularly from the 4th floor tenants.

can you believe this?i slammed at the same spot 3 times, and at the same position, at the same wound too...damn.

my current skate shoe, the vans chukka low.thrashed my "green taxi" dunk low sb.bust a hole on the side...still trying to land the backside flip.
That's it from my boring weekday life at kl.

hot rice

hot rice,if you read this word in hokkien it means a type of dim sum.and that's how i waste my last night with my housemates.
We went to this dim sum place at kuchai lama, where they still serves dim sum at late night.
We just went there to have a lil bite and have a taste of the dim sum there, not too shabby i think.
The char siew pau,or pork bun is kinda nice.
If you look at the picture closely you can see i still got the chance to fiddling with the sauce provided there, and the mayo too. After that we went for a little drive around PJ,kinda miss that place as i spent my foundation years studying and living there before i move to setapak,kl for furthering my studies in engineering.
Reach my home at around 5am,and i still have test at today afternoon....-_____-
bye guys.

party k box

This is the place i usually waste my night with my housemates scream our lungs out and get drunk, but normally i won't drink too much cos we stvill need a drier that is sober enough to drive everybody home, and i'm usually is that driver.
This cool joint is located at ss2,pj.The rate of this place is amazing. No head charge and room charge, they only charge you on the food and beverage, plus if you're a student, you get half price off, except for alcoholic beverages(they don't encourage students to drink booze and rot their own brains with alcohol,i think....how thoughtful, lol)
They don't really update their songs, but it is still a nice place to chill during those boring nights.
Do check out that place, they got even better deal during lunch time :)
Gotta sleep now, need to wake up tomorrow to study for the coming test, bye.

Lookout Point

Finally we all had a taste of what hummus is during our random trip to lookout point(my friends call em as mini genting).Benn wondering what hummus tasted like after saw em in the movie "don't mess with the zohan".
Bored as fuck...bye.

Roasted Chickens

Went to Mid Valley with the dudes of 130-13-13(my condo) after the class, just for fun.
When we're strolling around the LG floor after done playing and browsing around carrefour,we saw a kickass banner outside rasamas restaurant(formerly known as ayamas) that we thought it is too good to be true, but still it is nothing but the truth.

Luckily,today is wednesday,heheh......
We went in without hesitation, sat down and start fulfilling our tummies with the roasted chickens.

We completely filled our stomach with chickens after 1 hour of dining in.We stopped only because of we're very full, but also because we ate so much roasted chickens until to a point where the taste and smell of those chickens sickens us.We barely touched the garlic bread because the roasted chicken is the main course. Also, the garlic bread tasted weird.

The dudes dared me some stupid thing again. The object above is a small piece of garlic bread dipped in cheap ass soup with sour hot sauce topping. My appetite decreased dramatically after i ate that.
Went home with fully loaded tummy......*burp*

Afternoon Tea

This is the best remedy after a long, tired and hot day at campus......

Nostalgia

Went back to my hometown of alor star for the chinese new year.
And the first thing i notice when i sat foot on the front porch of my house is the super hot weather, much hotter compared to the hot weather back at kl,damn.
Straight off to a lil' skate session with my bro edwin and also yeoh.
It's been a while since i last skated with them, and it feels great to have them back.
Both of them still so awesome on the board,as usual.make me feel like a schoolboy that just starting to learn to roll on the board, lol.
Also,i tripped and fell when tried to gap across edwin's board, talk about pre-cny injury....lol.

Help my mom with the spring cleaning the next day, can't really squat down due to the injury, hurt my hip and my right thumb due to the fall, lol.
And as i went through all the shoe boxes scattered around my home(my passion for shoes already existed long ago, lol),i found the shoe box of my pair of adidas pulsado boot that i wore during my senior year of my high school.
The football boots is the main thing i love from adidas, plus they are the pioneer in making football boots, right?
Below is the picture of the boot i dig up from google image:

This boot is the only boot that i truly comfortable and satisfied of all the boots i ever own.Upper which is made of calf leather with the standard traxion technology on the sole, although this is just a 3rd grade boot(the first grade is the Predator Pulse,7th boot in the predator boot evolution) but it's still maintain it's superb quality, as all the adidas products. This boot accompanied me all along through my senior year, during the time i was kinda active in football, and i made it into the school team during that time(yay!),great memory....
Too bad the boot has reach it's time to retire by the time the football season ended,i'll never forget that boot, the sweet time when i scored, the hard time during training,i cherish all of those memories.if boots are made to last a lifetime....guess great things are not made to last huh?

OK, time to hit the road and go home for dinner.oh by the way i'm going back kl tomorrow after a long week at alor star to face the reality.gotta step up my studies after this.peace peeps.

when physics meet with reality

Something my housemates, vincent and johnson came up with during their boring lecture....
those living at setapak/genting klang area will get this.
OK,honestly it is kinda lame but no doubt, time well spent on drawing and laughing bout it,lol.
chinese new year is around the corner, bought some clothes but damn,i need some new pants.
choosing now between a new denim or try something new like chino pant.
will try my luck on getting em at penang, hopefully she can made it to the trip.
OK,stop the crapping, gotta study for tomorrow's small test, wish me luck...
oh,by the way, happy chinese new year to any of my reader,if there is,in case i din update until after the chinese new year.good day.....and goodnight.

Hammer of Justice

While i was google-ing around to find some artworks of Pushead,i found this:
A great artwork giving tribute to my favorite band,Metallica.
R.I.P Cliff Burton, one of the best bassist I ever known.

Be (Red)

Nike joined forces with big brands like converse to support the fight on AIDS in the Africa with the release of the (Nike) Red shoe laces. I saw this red laces on sale when i was on a trip to penang with phaik kee, and pledged my rm30 to this cause, bought a box for phaik kee too.

This is how the shoe laces looks like. I think you can get this laces at any nike store. Both laces have the red lacelock and the word "lace up,save lives" on them,nice...

And I've decided to put the laces on my beloved marshall amp dunk high sb,replacing the original lace that is red in color too, though the laces are actually meant for football boot laces but what the hell....

And the lace switching process goes underway....don't know why but somehow i like this picture, messiness of all the red laces lying around the shoe.

Done with the right side of the shoe. The laces are too short to tie all the way up,lol.

Finally done with both side.As you can see by the time i'm done the sun is already barely visible.

Very nice lacelock,i like this picture too.

Gotta go now, dinner time....hoping to go to k-box again tonight and kill our brain cells with alcohol,lol.Peace.

New Strings

I'm back,again.....
sorry for being out of the picture for so long, kinda hectic weeks back plus super busy with the "back-to-school" thingy going on,all of us are back to the campus for the january semester,yay....
kinda bored last weekend, when i was doing my revision i saw my pity-looking guitar just lying at the guitar stand there as i've been neglecting my lovely guitar for some time already due to my part-time job at adidas during the holidays.
And i remember that i've already bought a new pack of strings couple of months back, been thinking of changing the strings for quite some time already, and now since i have the free time.....i didn't complete my mathematics tutorials, again, lol.

This is the string brand that I always use,d'addario...nice tone.recommended by edwin.

Say hello to my Les Paul guitar,it's not Gibson brand, don't worry,i did not yet reach that level to use Gibson stuff, nor the financial ability to own a Gibson guitar.Poor thing already covered with a thick layer of dust....i'm sorry man,i promise i will play you more often after i change the strings k?

After about 45-60 minutes of cleaning and string changing, the only thing left to do is tune those strings.By the way this is the first time i change the strings on my own,the last few times the ones that do the string changing for me is my bro edwin and my hairy housemate vincent that broken the delicate E string, thanks guys...

Finally i'm done, currently learning some old skool tunes such as "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder, great song to start your day in the morning. The picture above reminds me of myself,i'm a big mess....about time to end the messiness and tidy myself up.

Will update when i'm free,at least will try to....lol.That's it for now.
