this is a beautiful song, been trying to find this song for quite some time, heard it from the trailer of the movie "Time Traveler's Wife", gonna watch that movie later with tee. Well i'm more of a action/comedy movie dude but when going out with her, i can only choose "tee" movie,lol.

since i was a little kid, the obsession on footwear has been strong in me.
until now, that strong passion still yet exists, and i can say has gone deeper, no doubt about it...
(you can ask my close friends),though i'm not a serious collector but sneaker still plays a big role in my life.

i think i started to notice on shoes when in my teen years, probably the point where i started mingle with skateboarding and thus start to notice skate shoes on skate mags, from eS to etnies to lakai footwear to nike sb....

The point where i start to get serious about my sole obsession is when i was 14.
I'd always wanted to own a pair of a really good looking sneaker from big brands such as nike, adidas and so on...

That year, my parents went to taiwan for business trip, and my big brother edwin asked them if they can get a pair of sneaker for us. oh and by the way, me and edwin share almost every clothing, including shoes, cos that time our body size is almost exactly the same, but it all start to change later on in the future when my bro stop growing, and me that still keeps on growing,lol....

We decided to mask our parents to get a pair of nike air force 1, as that pair was worn by many celebs, hip-hoppers to be exact,and they'd even make a song out of that shoe for god's sake(air force one by nelly and his friends).

I gotta thank my parents again for the pickup from taiwan. From then onwards, i knew that sneakers is going to be my obsession.(sorry mom for the shitload of shoes i have now,can't help with the occasional impulsive buying and the sale going on,lol)

This is the pair my parents got for us.

The midsole has gone yellow-ish due to ageing and insufficient care.

anybody can give me ideas on how to bring this pair of sneaker back to it's glory days?

more pictures....creasing is also a major issue on this pair, kinda sad it already spent many years dying inside it's own box,haih...

Currently i can't get anymore new shoes, main reason is cos i'm broke,god damn i hate that broke feeling...will visit sole what later cos of the big sale going on and see if i can get a pair for my own birthday,which lands on 1st of november. let me know if you want to get me some as my present too,thanks....size us11 please,lol.

project 125z

i'm a big fan of bikes when i was 16,
the passion still exists now,but maybe not as deep as before...
my first bike was a yamaha 125z, bought by my bro and passes down to me and my little brother.
for those who are not into bikes, the yamaha 125z bike is always synonymous to "mat rempit", or local biker gang...but trust me,i'm not a biker gang,i'm a law abiding road user,
i even will wear my helmet when i go "tapao" at my neighbourhood,
just sometimes will enjoy the occasional "more than usual" speed,lol....
during my semester break, my little brother, edmund had passed his bike license test and wanted new look on this bike as age has taken toll on the beauty of the bike,mostly due to lack of maintenance as i spent much of the time at kl,poor thing...

this is the picture of my bike when i was 16,
add some extra rust and a shitload of dust on the bike and you'll know what my bike looked like,lol.

had a lot of fond memories riding it,even some painful ones,luckily not so serious,lol...

my brother wanted some serious colour, so my elder brother, edwin opted for matte black colour, cos the colour matches the white rim, though the rim not so white now,lol.

Sorry i did not take any pictures during this whole project, the whole project start by disassemble the chasis of the bike, and just....repaint them with spray,lol.

after 1 week of work(actually it can be done within days, but we like to take things slow,chill...)
here is the new look of the bike,enjoy...

kangar 1 day trip

just a few days before i off back to kl, i travel back to kangar with my family, just for fun cos i haven't been there quite some time already.
i actually spent my childhood there cos my grandparents live there, and it's a shame their house is no more now,long story....

back to the topic, we start our journey at afternoon, luckily we get the chance to enjoy the sunset view at kuala perlis.

our trip ended with my uncle taking us to a great seafood diner nearby.

I think he write this song during his fight against alcohol and drug abuse.
And he also did a duet with his daughter, Kelly on this song.
nontheless, a sad and beautiful song, never knew a rocker like Ozzy can be so melancholic...

Personally i preferred John Mayer's version, probably cos i'm a fan of John Mayer,

what to do today?

man,how am i suppose to blog if i'm just goofing off everyday without purpose?
everyday i just wake up,stone on the telly,lunch,online a while,hang with my mates and that's it...
damn what a pathetic life i have.
well i might as well talk about my goofing-off plan here.
usually at night i always just gonna chill with my mates at some local "pusat snuker",
everyday at night,we all gonna gather around at some place and brainstorm together,
"ed dude,where to go to lepak later?", and the answer is always "go play pool la,easy"
hari-hari selalu je cucuk bola putih,tak boring ke?
to break the routine,sometimes we'll off to cc play some game,mostly dota,but will get bored easily as i'm not that good on playing that game, and they're not that interested in l4d,how ironic...
well,that's what i usually do during sem break with my mates.
i bring my skateboard back,but most days afternoon will rain,no chance to skate...
any suggestions to kill my time?please,don't suggest me to read some book,it's sem break for god's sake,it's the only time we don't need to read books...

yup,after disappeared for some time, i'm back to the blogging world.
